Nathan 18 weeks
Big events this past weekend. On Saturday Nathan rolled over. He has yet to repeat this performance. On Sunday the whole family was at church early so that Greg could be at worship practice (with only one car operating we all rode together) Nathan fell asleep for a morning nap and I put him in the church nursery's crib. I hung out in the nursery for a while but than reluctantly decided to let Nathan sleep and attend church. So for the first time EVER Nathan was in the nursery. I was told that he woke up about 20 minutes after I left and that he did fine. The nursery workers/volunteers even changed his cloth diaper. I was pretty nervous, Greg had to go to the bathroom during the service and he peeked in the nursery for me and said all was well. Nathan did get fussy towards the end of service and about 10 minutes before church was over I was fetched to get Nathan. He was not "screaming" just fussy and I had told them how nervous I was and to get me right away if he fussed. All was well in fact the moment I came in the room Nathan was all smiles.
I'm not so sure I'm ready to leave him again-maybe in a couple more months.

Nathan 17 weeks!
Ok-these photos were taken on Saturday. Nathan was 16 weeks 6 days (close enough to 17 weeks) Turns out I've lost my SD card in our camera-no clue where it went. I took our camera to the pier to take a few shots of father and son but all I took were these two lousy photos for lack of memory space. On the bright side Greg was home for his first Father's Day.

14 weeks in Hawaii
After a nice visit with family in Washington State, Nathan and I are headed back to Guam. I was all set for a smooth trip home with several flights to Guam daily. Turns out we'll be hanging out in Hawaii for a few days. Last month we applied for a passport for our little one. The post office took our original birth certificate for the passport processing. Without a passport or original birth certificate for Nathan we can't fly back to Guam. Fortunately the passport has already arrived at our home in Guam and my neighbor is express mailing it. It would have been mailed a day sooner but our hotel on the navy base will not send or receive mail (since 9/11) so we had to find some kind soul who lives in Hawaii and would be willing to accept our mail. We should have it in about 2 days and we'll soon be on our way.
